Skin: Winter is Coming

If you have moody, unpredictable skin come me then try this olive oil scrub recipe I tried from a favorite blog of mine,  { wit + delight }. The winter season is coming, and it is coming hard. You heard me right. This winter is giving it to me, blowing me, in my face. Wind, dryness, and heated buildings and buses just blasting me. My touchy skin can hardly take it. To cope with this blustery bitch called Winter, I highly recommend this scrub.

TIP: Don't scrub the life out of your skin! ...Just a gentle massage will suffice. Also, I love it even more for my body!

Other tips I swear by for facing the cold weather months:
  • L'acqua, l'acqua, l'acqua - Drink lots of water. I'm awful at this simple task but it makes a big difference in your skin (as well as your body, duh!). If you're like me and don't drink as much water as one should per day, then try: 1) water bottles with a straw that make drinking easy, 2) drinking tea or water-based beverages, and/or 3) eating fruit and veggies with a lot of water in them like cucumber and tomatoes.
  • maschere di bellezza - For me, using a hydrating mask bi-weekly is enough to give my skin the pick me up it needs. When my skin feels dull I prefer to use Boscia's Luminizing Black Mask.
Do you guys have any personal skin/beauty tips for the wintry months ahead?

My final tip? Flaunt your dewy skin/cause double-takes

P.S. Yes, the title is a Game of Thrones reference ;)
