eventhough me and nick went to the lucy exhibit weeeeekss ago. i still think it needs to be blogged about, picture style.

engrish. i happily felt engrish today at multi store. (my awkward attempt at engrish.) but no. engrish must come from the heart. today my and boyfriend went about seattle to discover a store, daico, at the below ground level of westlake. to my delight, it was like an asian/japanese wal*mart where everything was $1.50. yes. a buck fifty. so i bought useless things like a hedgehog note pad, as well as a memopad with french baked goods on it with smiley faces on them. anyway, the real pleasure was finding the 'hallmark' card section where english cards read, "For You. Do you know how I love you?" and "we will dance happily to the pretty rain drops". it made my day good.

also,
i saw lucy, the australopithecus afarensis, she's a beaut. it really is astounding the progession of homonid evolution. man, i love anthropology. i remembered learning half the information in anthro 201 and 202. so i'm fucking special. i love it. i love nick. he loves lucy, its a wonderful triangle. seriously, this was a great veteran's day off. we ate lunch at dahlia lounge, definitely the most gourmet grilled cheese and tomato soup (but really it was bisque) i've ever consumed. delectable.
