happy leap day, all! i hope you all do some thing bat shit crazy today since nothing counts on leap day (real life is for march)! maybe i'll propose to nick! who knows... but, if you're looking to keep things pretty normale today as if it were any other day check out this art website i've been loving, little paper planes, which sells original art from up-and-coming artists, but they do much more (publications, apparel...).
the winter fruit would be perfect for the kitchen and it looks so delicious, i wish it was scratch-n-sniff (is that too 80s of me?). i'm a huge fan of map prints, too, especially of places you've been or are from, it just makes them a bit more meaningful. the atlas - the west coast print is perfect for us left coasters. and the third print above is animals + a tad bizarre = should be on my walls...
well, i'm off to go enjoy this helluva leap day seattle has provided (i guess the weather decided to go crazy, storm in our faces, and tomorrow will pretend as though nothing happened...rude.)
above: fruit print by claire nereim | american atlas - the west coast print | dont get scared now print by julia pott
and other great art sites.

Dude, I totally support the whole proposing to Nick idea. (Fyi, I proposed to Michael first. No lie.)
And then when you go ring shopping, check out singleB--the wonderful Portland gal who made my recycled metal, conflict free beauty of an engagement ring.
Gah, if only i thought he wouldn't deny me if i did propose! i'll be booking marking singleB though (;
